Short bio

Dr. Jörg Pleumann is the technical lead and architect of the Android group 
at Noser Engineering, Switzerland, a founding member of the Open Handset 
Alliance. In this role, he led Noser's contributions to the Android core 
libraries and to the Android compatibility checking efforts. He regularly 
publishes and talks about the subject. Before joining Noser, he spent several 
years at the University of Dortmund, Germany, where he wrote a dissertation on 
improving modeling education in software engineering. He has been involved in 
mobile and embedded Java since 2001 and has contributed to a number of related 
open-source projects.
